How to install

Six steps and the mod manager works on the modified APK.

    Download ForBlitz Updater

    Install our ForBlitz Updater app — it’s the easy way to download and update everything, including ForBlitz Edition.

    Update ForBlitz

    Update ForBlitz to the latest version — via the Updater or another way. A “Mod manager” tab appears in the bottom menu.

    Find ForBlitz Edition

    On the Updater home screen, open Tanks Blitz: ForBlitz Edition and download (or update) the build to the latest version.

    Launch and grant access

    Open ForBlitz Edition, grant access to all files and load the first game resources. HD textures are optional.

    Install mods

    The mod manager now works — install mods on the modified APK (pick it when choosing the game).

    Manage mods

    Remove and disable mods in the same place — swipe a mod left or right.

Third-party mods (not from ForBlitz)

Mods from other sources can be added manually too.

  1. 1Open the mod archive and find the file folders (3d, Configs, Gfx, UI, WwiseSound, etc.).
  2. 2Copy them into the externalmods folder at the path shown.
  3. 3In ForBlitz settings, enable the “externalmods” toggle.
  4. 4Launch the game — you can even use mods from other sources.

No. The modified APK installs and enables mods itself through the built-in manager — Shizuku is no longer needed.
